MS exhaust vs P5 sport exhaust

I'm terribly sorry if this is a repost...

What is the different between the Mazdaspeed exhaust compared to the P5 sport exhaust they sell at dealers?

The only difference I see is that the MS is oval shaped and needs to be cut, and the sport is round and fits fine. Any comments?

Mazda Exhaust

I am looking at the SS Mazda sport muffler for my 5.
My understanding is the Mazdaspeed is made by Racing Beat (marked Mazdaspeed)
Can not seem to find out who makes the sport for the 5

Performance-wise you wont notice a damn thing. Just depends on if you like the oval or the round look.

the MSP one is made by racing beat and it a lot quiteier than the P5 mazdaspeed ( which is a bosal )

03 stock MSP exhaust - round tip quiet like stock pretty much

03.5 stock MSP exhaust - oval tip quiet like stock pretty much

mazdaspeed sport exhaust - made for sedans and p5's, round tip and makes a very noticable sound difference, like running without a muffler almost.

an axle back (muffler) from an MSP will fit the p5, but will look hideous and stupid because it pertrudes a good 4 inches from the bumper.

Thanks for the feedback! Now I'm off to find a 03 stock MSP exhaust with the round tip!
