For what its worth, your car looked so much better *without* a spoiler *at all*...

the spoilerless look on the sedan is pure automotive pornography :p
 
I agree about the spoilerless look. I just got bored with it so I went with something new and diffrent at the time. I did the EVO spoiler right after Piranna did apx 6-7 years ago. But my car has only been running with it for abt 1.5 years :). As stated above, when I am bored with it I will try something new........
 
yeah I get bored with my rear end as well. Hence why I have a 03 spoiler, than a evo spoiler, then wingless for over 2 years, and now back to a 2003.5. If I do buy another spoiler it will be the Voltex spoiler for 1500$ lol

man, everybody's getting rid of their Proteges... I sold mine already on August 7th ;(

$2,500 with everything on there....Turbo kit and everything else... 180,000 miles was on it when it was sold. Did a compression test and all cylinders came out at 180 psi. Pretty good for a motor that was boosted at 100k miles at 7psi. It just needed to go, unfortunately..... If I wouldn't get into my med. school, I'd NEVER sell it. Can't work on the car and then go to hospital and work with patients, while my hands are covered in oil, you know what I mean? Plus, pulling up to a hospital as a student/employee, doesn't really look attractive in a loud car that smells (no cats lol).

Getting older and want more family friendly toys.......... i.e. quads/ toy hauler..... Needless to say, time to get rid of the Protege. I love driving it but would rather spend the money on family toys not just my toy.

I wont part it out since I spent so much time building it :(. Im in no rush so I will wait for the right $. Until then I will keep tuning it and showing it, add more trophies for when it gets sold!!

Well the end might be near........ I am entertaining an offer on my Protege so she might be gone soon! Possibly trading for a BMW 323 and cash! Its been fun but all good things have to come to an end at some point!!

I'm a newbie to this forum and to Protege's, and this read was awesome. A beautiful work of art you have right there and very clean. Clean is key IMO. You're car is my favorite Protege to date!
Sad to see you're looking to sell but hopefully you can find the right buyer. Keep us posted on the outcome.

Well after 11 years of building and working on this car I sold it last night :(. Sad day but it was time to move on since I can't tow my toys or fit my family into the Protege.
