iPods for Alpine

I have a CDA-9835 (2003 model I think, says XM ready, not satallite ready). I was looking on Alpine's websire for the ipod adapter. I've heard that this is only for 2004 models. Is there any truth to this? Will it work with my 2003 CDA-9835?

i got it, it will work if your head unit is ai-net enabled, which im pretty sure it is. its pretty cool, i would recommed it. there is a little lag but its really not a big deal.

im running the 9835 with the ipod and sirius set up through Ai-Net. its super easy to set up. just plug it in and go!

the ipod will show up as a "cd changer"

oh, and just get it off an online vendor, dont pay more than 100 for it
