My 06 Mazda5 is suffering from severe trembling when accelerator is not engaged.

1) Until around 30mph, the car drives okay.
2) Once I hit around 40mph and accelerator is not engaged, the car trembles and sputters horrendously.
3) When the car is at around 60mph, the car trembles and sputters continuously.

I took the car to a local mechanic and he lifted up the car and told me that it might be "a clunk noise from drive shaft" (Mazda Service Bulletin, 03-002/10).

Since the mechanic was busy, I took it to another local freelance mechanic, he test-drove it and told me that it can't be a simple noise from drive shaft, as the trembling and sputtering is pretty severe. Instead he thought front wheel bearings went bad and recommended that the front right hub bearing assembly should be replaced.

Here are my questions.

1) What else could be a cause for this symptom?
2) I noticed that front wheel bearings is not a "hub assembly," as it is the case with the rear hub assembly. Would https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned) is a right part, or do I have to pick up something else?

Thank you!

If the car is actually sputtering, it clearly has nothing to do with wheel bearings. LOL.

How many miles does it have? Is it the engine sputtering or not?
