Good car for about $2k

I'm looking for a car that's reliable and isn't more than $2k? would anyone know of a good place to look? it's not for me, but it's for a friend of mine. I know chris(prodigy) had a 99 pro for sale, but i think it was like $3k something, so it was too much. it has to be an automatic and 4 doors, and the condition of the body, interior to be fairly decent. carmax car auction. You're gunna be looking at high miles but I got my first car (96 Infiniti G20 with 140K on the odo) for about that.


Give the auctions a shot. Just go with someone who knows what they are doing.
