wouldnt the fact that you are removing weight from an area right over the wheels hinder your performance more than help? I mean not by much but I dont really see it helping. Maybe wider but not lighter

Im not going for power with my car, Ive already been through one engine due to manufacturer defect, I dont want to blow one on my own. Im going for show with my ride, so Im not too worried about performance THAT much. A little less weight over my front wheels doesnt bother me when I'm not going to be tracking it anyways.
