Mid-mounted Mercedes V12 with ridiculous power output mixed with crazy styling. Must be another Pagani Zonda, right?

Wrong. Meet the Lotec Sirius, which takes the same basic recipe as the Zonda, but is stirred with a German spoon.

The 6.0-litre Merc V12 has been breathed on to produce up to 885bhp, depending on the boost of its twin turbochargers.

With maximum boost surging through its motor, the Sirius will crack 248mph and 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds, although 0-125mph in 7.8 seconds is even more impressive.

The Lotec Sirius has a history stretching back to 2001, when it was first shown as a concept. However, it's now on sale for a price somewhere north of 300,000 depending on specification.

wow germans have always been known for its crazy engineering and putting crazy technology into their cars

But styling was always mild and blan because they are fairly conervative. Italians are the flamboyant and essentric designers with zest.

wow, first I've heard of this company. nice. gotta love that merc engine. Looks like they were trying for overall speed in this car seeing the top mph and how quick it gets to 125mph as compared to the 0-62mph time. it's very mclaren-esk in the front

Not bad...but after seeing the Koenigsegg CCX on the new season of Top Gear...I have a new favorite up there with the Bugatti ;)
