Hello All,
Well, I knew it was too good to be true. Just hauled my JDM FS engine
home from Houston and when I pulled the valve cover off I discovered
FS1E camshafts instead of the FSH9s I was expecting. The intake manifold
has the resonance chamber on top that is touted as being exclusive to the
FS-ZE, but obviously that isn't true. It appears that I have a JDM MPV FS-DE
(which doesn't break my heart, the price was right) so now I'm trying to figure
out exactly what kind of specs this engine has. Searching turns up "torque-biased
camshaft from JDM/Euro spec MPV" everywhere, but no lift or duration numbers.
Just wondering if I would be better off installing the FSD7 cams from my stock 03
P5 engine into this one before I drop it in the car.
Any information would be appreciated!
