Hi everyone, if you have experienced a problem with the Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW) system or the cruise control associated with it, please file a complaint with NHTSA. it takes less than 5 minutes. My 2014 mazda 6 applied the brakes while I was on the highway then the "inspection needed" light came on. Very dangerous savey situation. Cruise control also acted strangely beforehand - speeding up and slowing down for no reason. Local dealer said "never heard of any of that." Claimed Mazda corporate didn't know about it either, "must be your fault." Three calls to Mazda corporate have gone unreturned now. I've read posts on this forum where people have had similar problems. Dealer offering to pay half the $2,000 repair because car is out of warrenty, but this should probably be closely watched for recall. Please file with NHTSA so they can look into it.
