Fan activating

Anybody else's outside fan on the 2 activate every couple of minutes while using the air con? Not sure if mines broken or it's just trying to stay at 1 temp and everybody's does it ?

I can't even hear my engine fan unless I'm sitting idle...and I know it kicks on to keep the engine cool, so I would assume the same thing happens at speed.

i mean, it'll turn on, spin for about 20 seconds, off for 1 minute, back on for 20 secs, off for 1 minute, over and over

Yes, that's normal...the AC compressor cycles in much the same way.

for the AC system to work it needs air flowing over the condenser coil, so at idle with AC on you get more fan activity
