EVAP system

Hi,

I need some help. I went for inspection and the car failed for EVAP, dealer replaced the EVAP system. Does anyone know what the EVAP system consists of cause I'd like to make sure they really did change the whole thing.

P.S. Has anyone found a chilton/haynes manual for the 02 protege? Seems like its a holy grail or somethin cause nobody carries it.
