A query about Mazda connect SD cards, my car was still using the original maps SD card from 2015 (BJM7 66 EZ1E).
I was able to verify the version of the maps using Mazda toolbox. I recently bought an SD-card on ebay (BJM7 66 EZ1W) which works fine in the car. However when I put the SD card into the PC it's not readable by windows, or mazda toolbox, the seller on ebay says these are encrypted SD cards.
Q. Does anyone else know if encrypted SD cards is common across all maps SD cards, official ones and cheap ones from ebay?. I didn't understand how the car can read the SD card but the PC does not?.
Q. How would you verify the map version without toolbox?.
