Door Chime Issue W/lites off and key out.

Lately, my door chime has been going off when I open the door, with the ignition off, lights off and keys in my hand. If I put the key back in the ignition, turn it to ACC. and then back off, it will stop the chime, but I am curious is anyone else has had this happen? Since I live in New England, could it be a cold weather issue?

I have not mentioned it to my dealer, because I can't get it to do it consistently.
