Does the 2009 cx7 2.3t have the same comon problems as the 2007 engine did

Hey guy purchased a used 2007 luxury with 58000kms. it had the common VVT issue it was sent to mazda for repair and they stuffed it didnt do the timing correct now needs a replacement motor.
The dealership i bought it from are willing to buy me another cx7 but can only find a 2009 model with the same kms same color etc.

My question is do the 2009 model cx7 2.3t have same common issues as the 2007 cx7 e.g vvt,turbo, ac compressor?

im hoping they have rectified the issue in the later models

I don't believe they do. The recalls were only covered for the '07. I have an '07 and haven't had those issues, knock on wood. I believe 2008+ are good.

What were the recalls on the '07? I bought an '07 in Feb. of this year, and I am starting to have some problems with it. I am hoping to fix everything for something bad happens.
