Big to do on the news about 4.7 million cars experiencing exploding airbag cartridges that act like grenades sending shrapnel into the occupants. I looked up what cars are on the list, and the CX-5 is not there. Most are older cars. Here are the few Mazdas effected.
Mazda: 18,050 total number of potentially affected vehicles
2003 – 2004 Mazda6
2004 – Mazda RX-8
