I bought a Cobb SRI and a Corksport TIP and installed them yesterday. Unfortunately, I discovered that both parts have a connection to the valve cover breather hose. With daylight fading quickly, I connected the valve cover hose to the silicon on the Cobb SRI and plugged the metal fitting on the Corksport TIP with a rubber hose and a cork (REAL corksport) with hose clamps. I wasn't able to pull the cork out with my hands after I plugged in into the hose. I didn't hear any leaks either.
Should I get the TIP valve cover hose attachment welded shut or does anyone have any tips on what to do next, besides buying the same vendor parts? I drove maybe 50 miles or far on it and everything seems secure. All I really need is that 90 degree silicon elbow without a hole for the valve cover hose and everything would be peachy...
