Clunking noise?

Okay so im not really sure what i could be but going from 1st to 2nd there is a clunking noise that happens?..anyone else have this problem, i think i remember another thread that i saw on this same topic, but never payed attention....

anyone have any ideas, on the problem, or what to do?

Mine did that.. i took it to my mazda dealership.. they said it was rust on my axels.. the next day my mounts broke and i was left stranded. Seriously.

lol yeah.. just dont belive the rusted axel excuse.. and the bad part about it .. im a mechanic.. but i figured.. "hey.. the dealer must know more thatn me... its there car".

Check the broken mount posts below and the "engine transmission page" it really sucks to driving when that happens

mine clunked for a while after I got it on the 1 - 2 and 2- 3 shift as well. It went away and then I got the mounts replaced.

Mine did the same thing it turned out that one of the other mounts was breaking apart.
