Cel: P0140

I keep getting this code everytime my CEL comes on and when I scan it with my OBDII tool it comes out to P0140. I checked it in the codes and says:

P0140 O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Is this the O2 sensor for the exhaust manifold or the one on the midpipe?

well they are both O2 sensors , check the one on the Midpipe, a stick or anything like that could make it not work, it happend to me and a cupple of my friends sometimes, they are easy to replace/splice in a new one.

And sensor 2 should be the one on the midpipe.

I had a p0037 CEL code, indicated bank1 sensor 2 like yours,

I replaced the rear O2 sensor and it went away. (i used OE O2 sensor from parts department because it had the pigtail, no splicing).

Outlawstar98 - Yeah, I'll check that out tomorrow when I get a chance.

protojason - Looking at the picture, my O2 sensor is located elsewhere since that set-up is for a non-turbo car. But it should be the same.
