Bumper Skin Repair

:
Protege5
Today I backed into a box blade and poked a hole in my bumper skin.

What is the best method to repair this? I'm cool with "looks good from 20 feet". My car isn't a gem or anywhere near show quality.

There is only one P5 at local scrapyards, and I'm not sure if it has a bumper skin or not. It's red too.

Since it's not really dented or missing actual material. Pull the bumper off, then use a flat tipped soldering iron from the back to weld it back together and flatten it out. You can usually get them pretty close to back in shape with some fiddling around. Use a little filler if you need it. Then paint.

Bumper repair kit... Good from 20 feet... At night...

They make white duct tape right?

I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

Seriously, a bumper sticker ;)

Or - piece self-adhesive 'trim' from AutoZone across the whole bumper ;)
