yea but he fixed it.... and i dont know i want lights like that to work cuz what if somthing was wrong... i dont know is fluid leaked out over night or somthing drives down road dies lol ...

just replaced all four pads (hawk HPS pads- awesome! ) and that fixed it.

The hand brake light problem turned out to be bad news for me: had to replace rear pads and rotors at 40000 miles (haven't had to replace front pads yet). I did not buy the dealership's explanation, that driving with the handbrake on could be the cause of my problem. However my warranty has expired and I ended up paying the bill.

really odd that your rear pads went before the fronts. and brake pads/rotors aren't covered under warranty anyway since they're wear items.
