Given the issues that Ford has had with eco-boost, are you sure that it's a deal breaker? I'm quite satisfied with naturally aspirated performance and reliability in a daily driver.

What issues? I know several F-150 owners and they all love the engine. I'd still get a 5.0, but I've heard good things only.

Specifically their intake manifolds and heads, but it depends upon the application as Ford has many engines dubbed eco-boost.
