Battery Back Up Alarm Problem

Here's the scenario.

I had to unhook my battery to install a new HU.

As you know the battery backup alarm automatically sounds off if the main power is disconnected so I disable the backup with the supplied key.

I disconnected the Pos+ terminal.

The power was disconnected for 2 days.

After getting the HU installed, everything worked fine.... except that I forgot to reactivate the backup alarm.

Now I can't reactivate it b/c it automatically sounds off it's alarm.

I've already tried to disconnect the battery, reconnect it and tried to activate the backup alarm. It still sounds off.
I've also tried to activate the backup, the alarm sounds, I disable the main alarm with the remote, but the backup still sounds off.

What do I do from this point on?

2. connect the back up battery sire up
3. If it starts blaring, disarm the alarm with the remote.

Unless there is some way for me to disconnect the battery back up?

I didn't install this but I'll follow the wires back and see what I find.
