Auto-Trans Cooler Hoses

had to do a bunch of work on the car over the last week. Im in the home stretch which basically involves replacing all fluids in the car besides fuel. I swapped out my trans cooler lines for some heavy duty silicone vacuum lines i was told would be fine for the application as the auto trans cooler lines are not high pressure or very high temp. Can anyone tell me if this spells bad juju for me? I still have the decent condition trans cooler lines in case this isnt a good idea.

Honestly I would leave well enough alone. You don't see them fail very often, and there are no inherent benefits by "upgrading" them.

There is also the fact that vacuum lines aren't designed to hold pressure or constant petroleum exposure.

roger that ill dig the old ones out. no harm done. thought the silicone ones might leak a little more heat than rubber. Also was a little bit of bay dressing.
