Just would like to see if anyone else has noticed or is experiencing their a/c compressor cycling on and off for no apparent reason.
In the case my car I noticed it started happening when I would hear the cooling fan turn on in the engine, despite the fact that it was not hot outside nor was the a/c on including the defroster. This has started happening with more frequency and I am wondering if this is normal or is it something that warrants attention. Most of us know that IF you use the "auto climate" setting in the car, the a/c will run most all of the time.....even if you set the thermostat to 82 and its only 40 outside the a/c indicator light illuminates every time ? Odd behavior to say the least, if anyone has experienced similar actions please share. Also if anyone has a valid explanation as to why this is occurring, that would be welcome as well.
