2005 MPV ES - fan running a lot more than usual

Hey all - I have an '05 MPV ES with about 50k miles on it. For most of this summer (Houston, Texas) the cooling fan has been running more than usual, even after the engine is turned off.

I've topped of the coolant tank, and there's not a leak anywhere. Also, the inside temp gauge is always in the same spot, a little bit below midway up the range.... pretty much where it always is when we drive it.

Am thinking about flushing/replacing coolant and changing thermostat (since those are pretty easy DIY) to see if that helps. Then, I might have to get into the switches for the fans later if it's still happening.

Anyone else have any experience like this? Any oter suggestions?

Maybe its just hotter than usual...but the thermostat could be a big problem because thats what opens and allows your hot coolant to run threw..might be stuck open or something...

Fan control module. 20.00 at the dealership.

my 02 MPV had the fans on at all times, up and down in speed, off once in awhile. I was pulling a code for it so decided to replace the module, stopped the issue, fans come on when they need to now.
