I decided to do the "foglight always on mod" to my P5 today. My first problem was that when I turned it to parking lights, the fogs went on, but when I turned it to lo-beams, the fogs went off. Then to makes matters worse,while I was testing out the wire connection before I soldered the red wire that goes into the relay to the black/green one, I ended up shorting the wires. (Red wire going to foglights touched same red wire going to relay, which touched black/green wire.)
Now, becuase of this, there are several problems with my cars lighting:
1. Side markers and front amber lights do not turn on when lights are in parking light mode.
2. Interior lights do not light up when parking lights, or normal lights are on,
3. Car does not emit a notification sound that the lights are on when doors are open and there is no ignition in the key.
Is there anyone who knows how to fix this problem? Because now I can't drive at night because my cabin is entirely dark. Thanks for anyone who can help me with these problems.
