Only thing that is connected aftermarket to the car is wideband, boost and water temp gauge and turbo timer. Could any of these cause aforementioned strain? It'd all wired into the fuse box in driver side footwell. Sorry for multi message I'm responding via phone.

i once tightened my boost controller thinking i was loosening it, long story short i did the same, luckily im forged cuz it hit 25psi before a coupler shot off.

it really sounds like the buttons are installed backwards guy, in order to properly shut off the alarm you have to lock and unlock multiple times, and if youre really hitting panic instead of lock that may be your issue. your symptoms point toward the alarm not being disarmed fully. it does that...

youll feel probably the same power at 6 psi that you did with 9 psi on old turbo. im pretty sure there was a member on here that was on 4 psi and he had roughly 190 whp

it is not the same, the bigger turbo allows much more air to pass through at the same level of psi, so you will run a high risk of blowing your engine at that PSI on non-forged internals
