I dont geven get a mIL on mine, but i know its misfiring. has anyone else paced the inductive pickup lead of a timing light on their plug wires to check for a misfire that way? granted, it only works on cyl 1 and 3, but i cant get mine to fire normally (cyl 3). I think it must be a fault in the ECM

man, this is crazy. Why do i not get a code at all, but accordign to my timing light, have many and prolonged misfires, yet the car seems to run fine?

yes, they work on my lowered car, so they will definately fit a non lowered car with no issues. if you want something closer to original size, look for some 195/55/16. I think they are far more common than the 195/50/16, but both sizes are fine, in addtion to other choices that are available

yes, you are correct, i do know all of that. I bought the car used and it had different size tires on the front and the rear. the fronts needed replaced, the rears didnt. I matched the size of the rears (205/55) for the fronts. The factory size (195-50) appear to be rather rare and overpriced...

Some years the es HAD 4 WHEEL DISCs, other years they cheaped out to save money. the 2000 ES had 4 wheel discs, but i dont think the 99 ES did, not sure about the 2001

Thats funny, belive it or not, i just got some tires with a 600 tread wear rating, and it doesnt slide at all! can you believe it! It actually still sticks to the road. Try it sometime, you might learn something, not to mention save some money and not have to change yourr tires every couple years

with a 280 wear rating, they wont last long

My CC quit working. I was going to check the fuse first, but cant find any labeled for CC. Does anybody know where the CC fuse is, or if there even is one for this system? thanks oh, i have a 03 ES also, any common problem areas with the CC on these things?

I would go with more like a 205-50-17. I have 205-55-16 on mine, and its lowered around 1.5 inch, with no rubbing. you have to calculate the tires overall height and compare it to what you have, just makeing the sidewalls thicker for a better ride
