I am going to sell my Mazda MP3 and I am probably going to buy a used Mazda 3...Other than the Speed which model and year would be a good one to consider?? And if I read correctly, no more timing belt right?? now it's a chain?

That is reassuring...My wife and I are really considering a Mazda 3 now..we are hoping to get a 2006 with low km for less than $20,000.00 Canadian.

Is the trunk space in the 3s any bigger than the trunk space in the MP3 (minus the subwoofer of course)? And...any known problems with the Mazda 3s Hatchback?? I don't want anymore CLUNK or SQUEAK!!

U make a very good point but the problem is that I listened to stupid Mazda 2-3 years ago and I didn't do the anti rust treatment so now I am seeing some rust build up. After 2-3 years of treatments, they told me that they only did the treatment if there were signs of rust...don't even bother...

Yeah, everything is going to be the same. I should consider myself lucky because my warranty is up. So I will grease them up for another year and when I start a family, sell it and get an SUV. As long as the new owner doesn't hear the SQUEAK before he buys it, it's all good.. :)
