So I pulled my 03.5 apart today because it had a vacuum leak. Found that the intake gasket failed from all of the oil being sucked in at the one PCV port. Gasket was sucked in on cyl 4. What junk. Car only has 276K on it, and I replaced the intake gasket ~80K when I did the VTCS removal.

Got one on a junk car, thinking about selling or tossing on the other p5.

Getting the too lean code, so I checked for vacuum leaks, replaced the O2 sensor, swapped the MAF, replaced the fuel filter, and then I noticed that the TPS was reading 10% at idle. I swapped the tps with a good spare, same readings, TB looks OK, no binding, it's closed where it's supposed to...

Without having to buy the whole control arm assembly? I'm nearing 200,000 miles, and the car is getting worn out. Autozone shows one of the 2 bushings available. Granted, replacing the whole arm probably wouldn't be that bad of an idea, since I'd also get new ball joints.

I couldn't avoid a large metal beam on the beltway.... punched a nice hole in the trans and a nice 12-14" long gash right through the floorpan. Also blew out a tire and cracked one of the Rota Subzeros. Insurance came out today, will be interesting to see if it's totalled or not. Car...

The car broke! Drivers side front hub bearing wore out. Cracked the outer race. Luckily I caught it before it damaged anything. Pretty damn reliable. Only big thing that I had issues with was the oil starvation that forced a motor replacement at 30K (under warranty) 3 sets of brake pads...
