Cool, I know its gonna look cool especially if you got the camber set just right.. Sidebar: You know it's amazing how one person says it can't be done, and everyone follows the patter and say it cant be done. There's regular M3's running around with low offset wheels and we have bigger fenders!

You guys to realize that in order to run such a low off set you need to have camber adjustment in the front and rear, right? And most who go for this look are running coilovers to aid in height adjustment. 18x8 30et will and has fit the MS3.

Offtopic, but that's actually speed tape that he is using, not duct tape. Speed tape is made of aluminum and can withstand a ton of G's before coming loose. Runs for about $60 a roll.
