I put Evolve's brackets on around 2005 or 2006, greased them mo thly for the first year and haven't touched them since. I drive my car every day in a very wet locale. Haven't heard the clunk since I installed them. I have heim jointed endlinks too. Not sure what your problem is, blown strut...

Mine does this too. I wrote the original EGR fix thread but this is different. It happens when the rpm drops quickly and it is most certainly a vac leak. My boost gauge reads 9-10mmHg at idle! Has for awhile now. Pretty sure it is a plastic intercooler issue, so an FMIC is coming next.
