That should be perfect for your requirements. MTX makes good stuff. I run a cheap VR3 200 watt amp with a Volfenhag 12 and it's perfect. 200 watts can pump out more bass than one might think, it makes the rain gutters on my garage rattle from 50 feet away if I turn it up.
