I think you will find that this heat is generated by the laser and quite normal, unless you mean that the CD is almost too hot to hold. I've noticed that CD's get quite warm in my home HiFi.

Why do so many (mainly) American owners wish to disable their DRL's. It was proven in Sweden and Norway, who pioneered this idea in the 1970's, that it reduced certain kinds of accidents because unfortunatly not many drivers are blessed with the eyesight of Superman.
