    Clutch or LSD issue????

Was on a 5 minute drive home (about a mile) from an appointment and I came to a stop to turn into my neighborhood. Once traffic passed I proceeded to turn and the transmission caught for a second, slipped, and then caught again. It made a loud grinding noise while it was slipping. I came to...

    MSP radio wiring harness

Does anyone know where you can buy a wiring harness to install an aftermarket radio into a MSP? I've searched plenty and all I can find is that it is indeed different from the standard protege as it need to fit the standard Kenwood connector. A link or manufacturer and part number would be...

    Squeaky clutch pedal

My clutch pedal has developed a squeak whenever it is released. It is perfectly silent when being pushed in and squeaks on the way back. I've tried some lithium grease on everything that moves and it didn't help. Any ideas on what else to do? It's very annoying.

    Brake bleeder screw size??

Searched the forum and the major auto parts store sites and can't find an answer to what the correct size bleeder screw is for the front calipers on a MSP. I believe the rears are a M7x1.0 but I can't find anything about the fronts. The auto parts stores all list the M7x1.0 size and say rear...

    Seafoam Question

Another seafoam question... I've searched the threads on here and decided that I'd rather do my seafoam through the PCV valve rather than suck it through the brake booster line and risk damaging the check valve in the line. At this point, I've pretty much decided that is the route I'm going to...

    Original MSP Struts

SOLD I have a set of original struts that I took off my car about 2 years ago and have been sitting in my garage. They still compress and rebound fine and have no leaks, I only replaced them because I came across the adjustable Illumina strut/spring kit for $400 and decided it was a sign to...

    Check engine - P0171

So I've been getting this code (P0171 - bank 1 running lean) intermittently since the spring. The light will come on and then turn off 2 or 3 days later and stay off for around a week before it pops up again. When it first appeared, my mechanic ran a smoke test and I don't have any vacuum...

Anybody know what could be causing this noise???

I just replaced the shocks and springs on my MSP all around and installed a clunk fix I bought on the site. Ever since then, the car has been making this knocking/clunking noise whenever the car is moving. Applying the breaks no matter how lightly, makes the noise stop. It happens whenever...

    Rear wiper fuse on sedan?

I'm going to hardwire my radar detector in and I was going to use one of those "add a circuit" devices from autozone, etc. I went into the manual to decide which fuse would be good to tap and I noticed that fuse #5 was for the rear wiper and decided this would work. Looking into the fuse box...

    Help! Need new exhaust...

The crappy stock engine mounts have claimed another exhaust as all of the hanger welds have cracked and my exhaust is sitting on the rear end at the moment. I will now be buying new front and rear AWR mounts as well as some urethane hangers, but the real question is what exhaust to get? The...

    Jack Stand Positions

Does anyone know where to support the front end of the car on jack stands? There are 2 steel pipes which are part of the frame which the front suspension is bolted up to, but if you place the stands here...the one will be in the way if you are trying to change the oil. You really can't place...
