They should bolt right up, but the speedo might be a little off. I think the normal 3 sizes are 205/55/16 and 205/50/17. 225/40/18 would be the right circumference, but I think the speed3 is 215/45/18. Your gearing will be a bit taller.

The big, front-heavy, tricked version of the 2 would probably cut into 3 territory. The torque steer and plowing might also make it a bit crude feeling. If they went for something more in the spirit of what the 2 already is, a nimble, bare-bones car with a lot of spirit, they might intrude...

There was a guy who adapted a lot of the speed6 drivetrain to a 3. Last I saw he was moving oversees and was parting out the build. Don't know what became of it. There's a build thread on a different forum.
