you can adjust it but the ecu will change it back. if you play with it enough that the ecu can't correct it back to normal you will throw a cel. been there, done that :(

it will need to be heated to around 200c to melt and how you could do that with a handheld heat gun let alone without blowing the powder off is beyond me.
