you can adjust it but the ecu will change it back. if you play with it enough that the ecu can't correct it back to normal you will throw a cel. been there, done that :(

Yeah the curb rash is super easy to repair, only takes a few minutes of sanding followed by a few of polishing. I was able to sand down all of my similar curb rash before painting.

You will need a LOC (line out converter) to convert speaker level signals to non amplified signals your amp can use. . You could remove your rear deck speakers and hook it up to their wiring so you don't have to run extra wires, and then use the fader to control gain on the woofers.
