    Sqeaking!

Spray some lubricant all over the springs that clamp the J-pipe to the exhaust. The rattling could be a heat shield.

    eclipse rims

I believe the rims might fit. But the tires are too big. No go.

    Not at all.

    Is this a common problem?

Huh. I mentioned to my mechanic the other day that the idle in our 02 P5 was a little off. It fixed itself but he mentioned he'd take a look at the tubing after the air filter (is that where this is?) because it's fairly common for them to crack. I guess he was telling the truth.

    MP3 CD Deck?

^^^ Yeah, but it's also a lote more expensive. And my trim kit/pocket doesn't rattle. ^^^ If you're buying a new deck I'd highly recommend getting one with a USB input. Being able to play your music off of a thumb drive is amazing.

    Sunroof Wind Whistle

Canadian P5's didn't come with a roof rack. Buy some silicone lubricant and give the seals a good cleaning. That might help.

    '02 vs 03 differences

Seriously, thread closed. FWIW, Canadian P5's never had the option of side air bags.

    '02 vs 03 differences

Heh, I actually like the 02 rims better. The 03's have a leather steering wheel. The 02's is plastic.

Slid into a curb - got it fixed - still got vibrations

I presume they rebalanced the front right tire. Maybe they didn't get it right. For what it's worth, with snow tires the P5 is actually pretty decent in the winter. Provided you drive for the conditions, of course.

Cold + Royal Purple= no noise...

I switched from M1 5w-30 to Castrol Syntec 0w-30 (made in Germany). Immediately I noticed the engine ran smoother.

    amp location

There's no need to do this. I just lifted the vent up and stuffed the amp under it. The airflow through the vent is quite minimal and won't affect the amp.

Pirelli Snowsport 210---bad winter tire for P5?

An H-rated tire is usually a compromise between snow traction and dry pavement handling. They may get better but rest assured, they are MILES ahead of any all season. Also, if Montreal had the same snow as Ottawa it was a slushy snow that I found to be rather slippery. Even with my X-Ice's.

    first snow today...not impressed!

It would be helpful if we knew what brand and model of tire you're using.

The 2002's have the chrome headlights and the 2003's have the blackened lights.
