Ok, got an ipod adaptor from a buddy and after pulling the head unit and plugging it in the ipod shows the Mazda wings but that is it. I can not get the headunit to switch over with either the SAT or the MEDIA buttons and the ipod says "ok to disconnect". Is there a syncing process or...

You werent behind on payments were you? that was pretty out in the open and fast... Might try calling around to some repo shops in the area and see if a contract was out on your car...
