I think the only difference between say a GXL was the lighter chassis, no sunroof, better gearing ratio (5th i think), the stock rims are the same as the tii, (correct me if i'm wrong) I don't think they had a different side skirts. I'll look into it and see. Edit: The Tii does come with...

that CF sunroof is pretty nice, but since this is the first rx7 that the sunroof works perfect i can't part with that. Looks like you got a very nice body to work with as well.

Nice start that wiring job is impressive. The phone dials are sweet if they made them in 17s i would be first in line. All that interior taken out lightens it out a a bunch. I hear you can use dry ice to get the sound mat out.

Nice writeup. You could get a battery bolt hold down and hook it to the MAF to the brace on the frame just to keep it up off the car? Did the grounding kit make a notable difference in any way? I'm thinking about doing the same to mine.
