you get more tranny noise (duh) w/ the tranny mount. however, vibes decrease and move from the dash down to the pedals. vibes are less harsh and more of a buzz.
i'm a mod addict and the trz tranny mount has been my favorite.
rear mount doesn't need any support, but tranny mount definitely does. search for abilor's tranny mount post in the how-to section for picks. plan on two jacks and don't freak out when your engine still shifts a bit.

DO NOT BUY CHAINS. suck it up and purchase 4 (not 2) 16 / 17 inch steelies and snow tires. i got it done for $200 on ebay and craigslist. our car on stock potenzas is a deathwish in snow.
i get the same thing when i blip the throttle to maintain cruising highway speed. first noticed it when i went to 1 step colder plugs.
tried blaming it on bad gas, dirty maf, and improper plug gaps (all negative).
i don't get how it could be an fp issue at such slight throttle.
