That sounds like a problem with the keyless entry module. If replacing both batteries and both fobs doesn't fix it, then the module's the next logical step. And to Knox...as an unbiased 3rd party...1 of the 79,866 registered users of this site having double dead fob batteries is only 0.00125%...

Don't forget to put an inline fuse on the positive wire close to the battery. You wouldn't want to get a short somewhere and burn up your car. A small amplifier install kit would actually have what you need as far as wiring goes. You would still need to hook up an on/off switch on the power wire.

I guess some of you just missed the point of this thread entirely. I'm sick of people using this picture to bash others for buying Rotas when there's no explanation of how it happened.

1. The car is dumped so low that's it's effectively undrivable 2. The tires are so stretched that he's driving on the sidewall 3. The rear rims are MUCH wider than the fronts as if the owner is trying to fool everyone into thinking his car is RWD

I thought it was extremely obvious I was being sarcastic. I'm just sick of seeing that pic of the Rota Slip that looks JUST like this rim anytime someone says they want to buy Rotas. So I thought I'd make my point by doing the exact same thing the Rota fear-mongers do.
