Well, OP doesn't seem to be coming back... But, I pulled my plugs, and cylinder #2 has oil in it. Plug was covered. I'm not 100% sure if oil was sitting around the plug and I have a leaking valve cover gasket, or if i possibly have a valve seal/guide that's leaking oil into the cylinder...

And both my osram bulbs burned out on Chistmas Day, of all times. About 1yr total life. I put in two silverstars to replace them.

I never tried the acc position to see if it works, I will today when I go to leave for work. You need to connect both harnesses. The one you have to remove from the factory head unit, the other is included. As I said before though, the AC light staying on is normal. I will see if mine works...

your bulb burnt out. Remove your shift knob, and pull up on the cup holder and shifter bezel, remove the bulb and replace it.

Well, that's interesting. The fan shouldnt be able to run with the key off. The metra kit also doesnt make connections to the manual controls. Sounds like something went wrong with your blower motor circuit. hmmm..

It may run through a data line. Most of these type of units use data to turn on and off, could even just be a simple 6V like ford amps. Mitchels is probably the best solution.

The AC light will stay on even when the AC is actually off. Dont worry about that, it's just how the new circuit board works. As far as the Fan running.... that I dont have an answer for you. If your fan is in the off position it should not be running. If you have the auto climate controls...
