Could that be some type of grease they use to put parts together at factory?

did notice the axle going to passenger side is leaking enough to make the metal a little wet. Is that seal something i can change or is it to complicated. I might not even worry about it since we dont put many miles on the car. It might last awhile longer.

just ordered a new tensioner and both belts for my car. After doing a little research it appears you need a stretching tool to get the ps belt off. not a big deal but something you might need to know when you get started. im going pass by autozone and see if i can pick one up.

my cx9 has 240k miles on it and i havent changed trans fluid yet. Runs like a dream. Im contemplating doing a drain and refill but am afraid of messing up trans. Right now it runs great. Trans oil isnt red but isnt burnt either.

i didn't plan on a flush just a drain and fill. but the more i think about it the more i think its best to let it be. my wife only drives about 8,ooo miles a year so this trans could last alot longer.

Yes fwd. so far all brakes and coil overs have been changed. Also a/c blower got replaced as well
