I did, the NAV unit and non-nav bose unit are almost identical with the nav unit having an extra connector for GPS antenna.

Has anyone done this successfully ? I would like to have the larger screen size of the unit with NAV .... I see a few for sale on ebay of $500 to $600. Thanks

I have a 2010 touring ... no auto head lights ... if I leave the head lights on and turn off the engine / lock the car .. the lights go out .. after about 30 seconds or so.

Thanks for your reply. However, your explanation only applies to 2013+ cx-9s. 2012 and older cx9s had a totally different head unit for vehicles with nav, a different HU for tech package vehicles with backup camera and no navigation and yet a third HU for base w/o nav / camera.
