Ok... yes... as a scientist I am having too much fun with this I know. But I am enjoying these discussions and polls, and isn't that what this forum is all about? Good discussions between proud Mazda owners?

All right... here is the deal. Rate your car, and then give at least one thing you like / love about it, and at least one thing you dislike / hate about it...

I love the acceleration (not the velocity) of the car.
I love the practicality.
I like the interior
I like the exterior
I am neutral towards the radio
I dislike the shifter / transmission
I dislike the black tail pipe.
I hate the brake dust.

I love this car.
I love that the "average person" (i.e. civic SI owner) thinks it is a regular 3.
I love that I smoke the "average person" when he tries to race me.

I also do not like the exhaust pipe that must be constantly cleaned to keep it from turning Black.

this is all pretty biased, as my last car had really deteriorated and had a lot of minor inconvenience issues, so im prob still just loving having a fully functional car for the last 2 months. 1 - 5 years from now, my opinion would likely be much different when stuff starts breaking on it.

i love the power.
i love having 6 gears (good acceleration plus you can really pump good mpgs out with it)
i love the seats.
i love the cargo space available.
i love that i can sit in the back seat of it without moving my driver's seat (and im no small person)
i love that my head isnt jammed up against the ceiling while driving.
i love the fact that this car starts on the first try every time! (i have low standards, i know, but like i said, last car = past its prime)
i like the gas mileage.
i like the price.
i like climate control (and fully functioning AC and heat lol)
im indifferent to the wheels... seen much nicer on stock sport compacts
i dont like the black mica... love black on cars, but with the shiny and sparkly quality of the paint, it seems to show dirt so much faster than all of my previous cars... which were all black too. should have gone with metro grey or red in retrospect for cleaning purposes perhaps.

Gas Mileage (coming from a full size truck with 6.0 AWD)
6 speed manual (don't go paddle shift in the future please)
Passenger/cargo room
Grippy seats
Interior fit/finish

Hate:

Black soot on tail pipe
Brake dust is terrible

Considering I'm still in my "honeymoon" period with my car, my obvious answer was that I love it.

Love:
Acceleration.
Handling.
Cheap speed that doesn't feel cheap.
That the AC cools it down quickly, even after 6 hours sitting in the sun.

Hate:
Torque steer (not as bad as I feared, but still I'd rather not have to fight with the wheel).
That I don't have a proper race track near here

I love the cold AC as well... I forgot about that. My old G35 and Camry couldn't do it as well.

Already interesting results in this poll, I really wonder is 75% of the drivers out there right now can honestly say they love their cars. (Especially if it is their daily driver. Mine is.) BTW... I said like, but like a few ex-girlfriends already know, it takes me a while to say the "L" word...

I Like it, I don't love it.

Likes:
-Interior is pretty decent
-Stereo is decent for stock
-Speed is decent
-Exhaust sound with resonators and muffler off
-More room than my 350Z and a trunk that can fit cargo

Dislikes:
-Paint is cheap and easy to chip
-Ride is not very smooth for stock
-Should have had options for lips/kits from the factory
-Should have came with a scooped hood to make tmic function more OR a FMIC stock to avoid the whole issue there
-Hate the fact there are like 20 different textures on the interior making cleaning a b****
-Blue ambient lighting cannot become brighter/adjusted like I would like it to be to light up more of the guage cluster
-Mazda hates on modding it, and there arent many cheap options for mods

yeah mines all worn out and I never even touch it! Looks dry adn dull like it needs armor all or something, its the 20 different textured interior pieces the car comes with, makes cleaning hard to handle

Hmmm... I am trying to picture this in my mind. I guess I don't understand? I am average sized, (180 lbs, 5' 11") and I don't hit the side there. Am I missing something?
