Turbo help

I'm trying to figure out what kind of turbo to buy that's not a stock turbo and not have to upgrade anything. I bought this car last month and found out the turbo needed replaced but have no clue where to start.

gt2860rs. direct bolt on. may have a couple snags but search the forum for others who have swapped to it. should find any info you'll need.

be sure to pick up at least an ssafc if you do go the disco route. that turbo will blow the motor very easily at stock wastegate pressure.

I'm on a gt28r on stock ecu. Running 9 psi. Should I be concerned? It leaned out my AF ratios down to 11:1 so it still safe and the car feels great.

Log and see if you are getting any knock registering. That's the only way to tell if you're safe.

Lotsa info in this thread. The GT28 (disco potato) bolts right on, but it's not the same as stock and needs some work to make it...work.
