For those of us still using the TomTom navigation there is a new update to the software

Can you speak more about, "Application is now robust against corrupt 'MapUserPatch.dat' file". What was this problem that required a fix.

Every time I load a system software update, I lose my saved favorites. Is there a way to load just that file from the backup?

I don't know what the actual fixes mean, I just copied the information from the Tomtom website and provided the link if anyone is interested.

I lost my saved favourites as well. I tried the restore function and they still didn't show up.
