So someone is selling one and his reason for selling it was its not what he wanted. He wants to get back into the honda scene. He says he's a mechanic and the things wrong with the car is:
Passenger wheel hub and bearing needs to be replaced. He says he will buy it himself but ill have to install it..
He is going to replace the thermostat
The car has no rust, says the car runs and shifts smoothly, clutch is fine. (I have not yet test drove the car)
He car is mostly oem besides a CAI he put in. What should i look for? Its at 86,xxx miles. I haven't asked him if maintenance has been done to it yet but im going too. He says brakes and rotors are also done, everything else works fine.
 
Obviously check the vin out, drive it around, see how it rides. See if the turbo spools up smooth, listen for abnormal sounds and clunks in the suspension. Look under it and look at the bushings to see if they are worn. Check out the motor mounts too, usually a telltale sign if its been beat on...
